Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 August 2026

The short version. When you fill in the form on this website we collect your name, phone number, email address, city and preferred university. We use them so a counsellor can call you about online degree programs. We share them with the university you tell us you are interested in. We do not sell your data. We record which advertisement brought you to the page so we know which ads are worth paying for. You can ask us to delete everything at any time by emailing info@bilivineducation.com.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you give us directly

The enquiry form on this website collects exactly five pieces of information, all of which are required:

What we collectWhy we need it
Full nameSo the counsellor knows who they are speaking to
Mobile phone numberThis is how we call you back — it is the core purpose of the form
Email addressTo send you program details, fee structures and application documents
CityTo advise on regional considerations and to schedule the call in your time zone
Preferred universityTo route your enquiry to a counsellor familiar with that institution

If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email instead, we collect whatever you choose to tell us in that conversation.

1.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit this page, we and our analytics and advertising providers collect:

That last category matters, so we will be plain about it. When you click one of our advertisements, the advertising platform adds an identifier to the web address. We store that identifier alongside your enquiry. It lets us see that a particular advertisement produced a real enquiry, so we can stop paying for advertisements that do not work. It does not tell us your identity on any social media or search account, and we cannot use it to look you up anywhere.

1.3 Information collected during counselling

On a counselling call, our counsellor may ask about your highest qualification, year of graduation, work experience, preferred specialisation and intended start date, so we can tell you which programs you are eligible for. Answering is entirely optional, though we may be unable to advise you properly without it. We may note the outcome of the call and whether you decided to proceed.

2. What we do with your information

PurposeWhat this means in practice
Responding to your enquiryA counsellor calls you, usually within 15 minutes during business hours, to discuss the programs you asked about. This is the main reason we collect your data.
Advising youAssessing your eligibility and recommending programs that fit your qualifications, schedule and budget.
Processing an applicationIf you decide to proceed, preparing and submitting your application to your chosen university and following it through to a decision.
Following upContacting you by phone, SMS, email or WhatsApp about your enquiry — including reminders about admission deadlines and documents needed.
Measuring our advertisingUnderstanding which campaigns produce genuine enquiries. For this we use aggregated counts and irreversibly scrambled identifiers, not your readable contact details.
Improving this websiteSeeing where visitors lose interest so we can make the page clearer.
Keeping recordsRetaining evidence of what was discussed and agreed, in case a question arises about an application later.

3. Who we share your information with

3.1 Partner universities

This is the most significant sharing we do, so please read it carefully. When you tell us you are interested in a particular university, we pass your name, phone number, email address and city to that university's admissions team. They then process your data under their own privacy policy, which we do not control, and they may contact you directly. We share your details with the institution you named — we do not broadcast your enquiry to every university on our list.

3.2 Our service providers

These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your data for their own independent purposes. Some of them are located outside India, which means your data may be transferred and stored abroad under their standard contractual protections.

3.3 Advertising platforms and hashed identifiers

To confirm that an advertisement led to a genuine enquiry, we may send Google or Meta a hashed version of your email address or phone number. Hashing converts the value into a fixed string of characters that cannot be reversed back into the original. The platform compares that string against its own records and reports a match; it does not receive your readable email address or phone number from us.

We do not include your name, email address, phone number or any other personal detail in web addresses or tracking parameters sent to advertising platforms.

3.4 Legal disclosure

We may disclose information where we are legally required to, where we must do so to comply with a court order or lawful request from an authority, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with data brokers, list vendors, lead aggregators, or any third party for their own independent marketing. If you receive marketing from a company you have never heard of, it did not come from us, and we would like to know about it.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

This website uses cookies and comparable browser storage for three purposes:

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not stop the enquiry form from working. Third-party cookies set by Google and Meta are governed by their own privacy policies, which you can read at policies.google.com/privacy and facebook.com/privacy/policy.

5. Consent to be contacted

By submitting the enquiry form you consent to being contacted by us by phone call, SMS, email and WhatsApp about the enquiry you have made. You consent to receive these calls even if your number is registered on the National Do Not Call Registry or under TRAI's Do Not Disturb service, for the limited purpose of responding to your enquiry.

How to stop us contacting you. Tell the counsellor during any call, reply STOP to any SMS, or email info@bilivineducation.com. We will stop within two working days. We may retain a minimal record of your request so that we continue to honour it — otherwise a future enquiry could restart the contact you asked us to stop.

This consent covers your enquiry. It does not permit us to add you to unrelated promotional lists.

6. How long we keep your information

Record typeRetention period
Enquiry that did not proceedUp to 24 months from last contact
Enquiry that led to an applicationUp to 3 years, so we can answer questions about the application
Records where you enrolledUp to 5 years, or longer where a university or law requires it
Do-not-contact requestsKept indefinitely, so we keep honouring them
Website analyticsUp to 14 months, in aggregated form

You can ask us to delete your data sooner and we will, unless we are required to keep a specific record.

7. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law, you may ask us to:

How to exercise a right. Email info@bilivineducation.com with the phone number or email address you used, so we can find your record. We respond within 30 days. We do not charge for this.

Grievance officer. If you are not satisfied with our response, write to the same address marked "Grievance — Data Protection" and it will be escalated. If you remain unsatisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

8. How we protect your information

No system is completely secure. We take reasonable, industry-standard measures appropriate to the sensitivity of what we hold, and we review them periodically. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

9. Children

Our services are for adults considering higher education. The programs we assist with generally require a completed bachelor's degree, so applicants are typically 21 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information through this website, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page always shows the current version. If we make a material change to how we use or share your data, we will update this page before the change takes effect. We will not apply a materially different use to data already collected without a fresh basis for doing so.
